We are not your “typical” production company. In fact, we don’t make a “production” out of anything. We shoot, write, produce and edit, high end (but affordable) “corporate video” that’s all about your business. We’re able to produce “network quality” stories because some of our reporters, videographers, and editors, have actually worked with many of the major networks, including, Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC, ESPN, and other major network news outlets. The only difference is, we’re all on the same page and we “only” tell positive stories!
Though our approach to online video marketing is very unique, we are not just a company that limits ourselves to web video. We can also fulfill all of your video production needs, whether it’s a corporate marketing DVD, video for your lobby, a trade show, or a commercial. We even provide web design services, media training, social media videos and expertise, and have dubbing capabilities. We are based out of San Diego but have clients and teams all around the country and around the world. This helps us keep costs down. We have a 21st century company but old fashion values when it comes to putting our clients first. We love what we do and we’d love to tell your story!
Greg McKinney, President
Greg’s background in the TV News industry provides the backdrop for the vision that is Webstorytellers. Greg “absolutely loved” the fact that he had the opportunity to spend 16-years as an Anchor and Reporter in TV News. Greg has had reports featured on most of the major news networks, including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and other major network outlets. It is something that he calls a “thrilling experience” that he wouldn’t trade for anything. But his desire to focus on “what’s right with the world” and the “good things that companies are doing” was so intense, that it spawned his “little business idea” into a worldwide video production company that now has years of experience in virtually every industry. His approach to business is simple: Give clients 100 percent effort, do it with professionalism and courtesy, and give them more than what they expect. Pretty basic right? Why complicate things when clients simply want your best?
Angelique McKinney, Office Manager
Angelique McKinney has more than 12 years of television news experience. In her dozen years in television news, Angelique covered weather and environmental issues in Colorado, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Washington and California. Her reports have been featured on The Weather Channel, Fox News Network and CNN.
Her most recent TV job was at KOVR-TV in Sacramento, California, where she found a new passion: Storytelling. She was given the opportunity to report and never looked back. She too, however, preferred to focus on the positives of life—not the murders, fires, and disasters, that local news organizations tend to cover. She may be the most important cog in how Webstorytellers came to be. As Greg was debating his first day of work at a Northern California Fox station, he didn’tfeel as though his heart was in it. Angelique told Greg “if you put as much time into your business idea as you would at the news station, this business idea of ours will work.” Seven years later, it’s clear that she was right. When you call or email Angelique, you will instantly get a feel for the heart and soul of our organization. She might just be the nicest person you talk to this week!
